Overview
This course provides participants with the knowledge and skills required for the safe use and inspection of safety harnesses.

- Legislation
- Duties of managers and employees
- Definition of terms
- Sources of damage
- Recommended storage procedures
- Content of inspection
- Consideration of task
- Fitting and use of the harness
Course Benefits
After completing the course, participants should be able to understand the principal requirements of current legislation relating to harness inspection and use and be able to demonstrate correct procedures for inspection and use.
The participant will receive a Harness Inspection and Use training certificate on completion of the course.
Who Should Attend
The course is aimed at individuals whose employment requires them to have an understanding of the proper use of safety harnesses within the workplace.
Qualifications you gain
Upon completion, delegates will receive a certificate that will last for 3 years. This course will need to be completed again if delegates wish to renew this qualification.
