Emergency First Aid

Overview

This course prepares learners to respond in emergency situations by providing the relevant treatment. You will learn how to examine a casualty, use a defibrillator, familiarise yourself with basic life support and learn how to control bleeding and trauma. These skills allow you to overcome a potentially threatening situation long enough for medically trained individuals to arrive on scene.

Those who complete this course will be skilled to respond to a range of accidents and emergencies requiring first aid they could be faced with in the workplace.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for personnel that require a basic understanding of First Aid. To ensure learners get the most effective learning experience, we have limited the group size to 12 delegates.

Qualifications you gain

Upon completion, delegates will receive a certificate that will last for 3 years. This course will need to be completed again if delegates wish to renew this qualification.
