How to obtain a Green Labourers Card?

Step by Step guide to obtaining a CSCS Green Labourers Card

➡️Pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test:

  • Register for the CITB HS&E Test relevant to your occupation. You can book the test online or by phone.
  • Study the appropriate revision material, which can be found on the CITB website or purchased from various sources.
  • Take and pass the CITB HS&E Test. You’ll need to score at least 45 out of 50 to pass.

 

➡️Complete a Relevant Qualification:

You will need to sit the CITB 1 day Health & Safety Awareness course which has a duration of 8 hours and is examined by a 25-question, multiple choice exam.

➡️Apply for the CSCS Green Labourers Card:

  • Visit the CSCS website or call their helpline to apply for the Green Labourers Card. You can also apply through your employer or a training provider.

 

➡️Provide Documentation:

  • You will need to provide the following documents:
    • A copy of your CITB HS&E Test pass certificate.
    • Proof of your qualification or apprenticeship (if required).
    • A recent passport-sized photograph.
    • Identification documents such as a passport or driving license.

 

➡️Pay the Fee:

  • Pay the application fee, which may vary depending on how you apply and your specific circumstances. Check the CSCS website for the latest fee information.

 

➡️Receive Your CSCS Green Labourers Card:

  • Once your application is processed and approved, you will receive your CSCS Green Labourers Card by mail.
