Step by Step guide to obtaining a CSCS Green Labourers Card
➡️Pass the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test:
Register for the CITB HS&E Test relevant to your occupation. You can book the test online or by phone.
Study the appropriate revision material, which can be found on the CITB website or purchased from various sources.
Take and pass the CITB HS&E Test. You’ll need to score at least 45 out of 50 to pass.
➡️Complete a Relevant Qualification:
You will need to sit the CITB 1 day Health & Safety Awareness course which has a duration of 8 hours and is examined by a 25-question, multiple choice exam.
Visit the CSCS website or call their helpline to apply for the Green Labourers Card. You can also apply through your employer or a training provider.

You will need to provide the following documents:
A copy of your CITB HS&E Test pass certificate.
Proof of your qualification or apprenticeship (if required).
