EXPERIENCE EXCELLENCE
We carry out an inspection and a review of your existing health and safety documentation
Seaham Safety Services Limited can assist you in auditing your health and safety management system. We carry out our health and safety audits in line with the principles of the Health and Safety Executive guidance on health and safety management systems, HS(G)65 “Successful Health and Safety Management”.
Following these services, we will produce a report based on our findings, which will detail what we observed and propose an action plan for any issues or improvements needed. We will also be happy to help you implement any recommendations should you require this service.
Please note that health and safety audits can also be covered as part of our annual support contracts.
Health and Safety Inspections
Health and Safety inspections are an effective monitoring tool, which can identify any failures in your health and safety management system. They identify hazards and ensure that they remain controlled to reduce the risk of an accident or incident. Inspections should be carried out regularly by both internal and external staff.
As an external body, Seaham Safety Services Ltd can carry out full inspections at all premises and places of work including construction sites.
Report detailing Inspections
The results of our health and safety inspections are compiled into a report detailing the following:
- Details of the working environment
- Observations made and any hazards/issues identified
- Any recommendations necessary to ensure on-going legal compliance and reduce the potential of an accident or incident.
Toolbox Talks
Our construction site audits can also be combined with toolbox talks which provide added value to the organisation, highlighting that information and training is being provided to employees.
Reports can be submitted electronically or handwritten reports can be issued on site if required.
