Truth or Myth? Pub cant replace fried eggs with scrambled

When a customer ordered a cooked breakfast in their local pub, They were briefly told that they couldn’t replace the fried eggs with scrambled eggs as this would involve using a microwave to be able to cook the eggs which couldn’t be done due to Health and safety.

However when news of this case reached the Health and Safety Executive they had this to say: This is a cracking excuse!Health and safety¬†at work legislation does not prohibit the use of a microwave oven to make scrambled eggs. The company concerned acknowledges that it does not serve scrambled eggs because it has a centrally-determined menu. Instead of explaining this, “health and safety” has been given as the excuse, irritating the customer and leaving the company with egg on its face.
