COURSE AIMS
This 3-day practical workshop provides delegates with an opportunity for practical application of simple Lean Sigma tools and techniques to maintain and improve their business. It will help them to identify then eliminate waste & variability and explain how to successfully implement and sustain change.
COURSE CONTENT
The workshop will cover the following topics:
- Understanding Paradigms
- Structured approach to problem solving – DMAIC
- Waste and variation – Value in the eyes of the customer
- Practical use of tools – IPO diagrams, 5S, Kanban, SMED, Fishbone diagram, Standard work
- Successfully implementing and sustaining change
- Visual Performance Management systems
- After action reviews
During the workshop a number of business simulation exercises are used to help delegates understand and embed key learnings.
