COURSE AIMS
Although SMSTS certificates last five years, Constructions Skills encourages holders to refresh after three years.
This refresher course aims to bring individuals’ Health and Safety knowledge up to date, as well as giving a thorough overview of legislation changes and their impact in the workplace.

This refresher course is ideal for any SMSTS certificate holders who need to renew their certificate.

The course will cover the following topics:
- The changes to Health and Safety legislation – particularly in the construction industry
- Accident trends and prevention techniques
- Principle of working at height
- The changes to COSHH
- Stress related problems
- Effective communication with the workforce

PRICE
£320 +VAT per person for scheduled courses held at one of our nationwide venues. (reductions will be given for multiple bookings)
Scheduled courses held at our Seaham office are available at a discounted rate of £295.50 +VAT per person.
All prices include full colour manuals, candidate registration, exam fees, lunch and refreshements.
We are currently offering a further 10% discount on all courses at our Seaham Venue to coincide with the ConstructionSkills Site Safety Plus increased level of grant.
FUNDING
Companies registered and in scope with CITB-ConstructionSkills may be eligible to claim an attendance grant on completion of any of our Site Safety Plus courses.
From the 1st October 2011 – 31st March 2012 CITB-ConstructionSkills are increasing the level of grant from £17.50 per person per day to £52.50.

Day release – One day per week for 2 weeks 8:30am – 4:30pm (Available at our Seaham venue only)
