COURSE OVERVIEW

We offer the NVQ Level 7 qualifications below for higher management.

On achievement of the following NVQ a Senior Management CSCS card can be applied for after passing the ConstructionSkills Health and Safety Touch Screen Test.

COURSE CONTENT

The NVQ covers four disciplines:

Contracts Management
Project Management
Senior Site Management
Directors
To achieve this NVQ 4 Mandatory Units must be completed, plus 6 Unit Options

Mandatory Units

Unit No. 001 Manage teams
Unit No. 002 Lead and participate in meetings
Unit No. 003 Provide ethical advice, judgement and service
Unit No. 004 Develop self and others

Optional Units

Unit No. 005 Prepare and agree a brief and development programme
Unit No. 006 Manage design development and processes
Unit No. 007 Assess and evaluate the environmental impact of developments
Unit No. 008 Evaluate sustainable resources and requirements
Unit No. 014 Manage project processes
Unit No. 015 Control projects
Unit No. 017 Evaluate and progress the resolution of disputes
Unit No. 018 Manage marketing and customer service
Unit No. 019 Manage project completion

COURSE BENEFITS

After completing the course participants will be able to prove their competence as a Construction Senior Manager through a recognised qualification. Participants will also be able to apply for their CSCS Senior Managers Card and apply for Corporate Membership of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB).

The participant will receive a Level 7 NVQ in Higher Management.
