The IOSH Directing safely course aims to give directors and company owners an understanding of the moral, legal and business case for proactive health and safety management, and to give guidance on effective risk management.

DELIVERY
This course is delivered through a practical programme of engaging methods consisting of:
- PowerPoint presentation
- Delegate workbook with sections for notes and Q&A sessions
- Case studies
- Group exercises
- Group discussions
ASSESSMENT
Delegates’ understanding of the course material is assessed using:
- A written assessment consisting of 10 multi-choice questions (approx 15Min)
- An interactive group exercise
ACHIEVEMENT
Successful delegates are awarded an IOSH Directing safely certificate.

IOSH Directing safely can be delivered at one of our training venues or your premises.

This is a one day course (6 hours).
