In addition to the services included in our annual support packages the the services below can be added based on an hourly rate:
If you require a more hands on approach an adviser will be made available at an hourly rate to assistance with documentation or general meetings etc.
We can arrange workplace inspections as part of your support package to assist in the identification of health and safety breaches, bad practice and general areas for improvement. You will receive a report with recommended actions to be taken. Discounted rates are available based on the number of inspections contracted.
Seaham Safety Services can assist you with any health and safety sections of questionnaires and tenders you may need to complete.
We have a wealth of experience in helping companies to achieve accreditations and win tenders.
We can help to structure your answers with the correct terminology, guide you in the selection of supporting evidence to provide and highlight any areas where you can improve your management of health and safety to raise your health and safety profile.

Health and Safety Management Procedures
Health and safety management procedures are an important part of ensuring health and safety of your organisation is implemented effectively throughout your business.
They consist of information on how particular issues will be managed and should include relevant documentation to keep records.

- Businesses with well structured management procedures will find that achieving accreditation easier for OHSAS 18001.

Health and Safety Risk Assessments
It is important that companies employing 5 or more people carry out regular health and safety risk assessments of the significant hazards to their employees. Ensuring these are completed and documented is a legal requirement outlined within the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974.
Seaham Safety Services Limited can offer a support service when carrying out health and safety risk assessments. Our Health and Safety staff will support you through the process offering advice and guidance to assist you in the development of your risk assessments. Also should you wish to improve your knowledge we run regular CIEH Level 3 Award in Risk Assessment Principles and Practice which gives managers and supervisors the necessary knowledge required to conduct risk assessments.
