COURSE AIMS
Under the new Regulations anybody who installs, maintains, or designs electrical electrical installations or wiring in building both industrial and domestic must conform to the 17th Edition IEE wiring regulations BS7671. The course aims to enure the delegate understands the scope and and effect of the latest IEE regulations and their implementation to BS7671:2008.
COURSE CONTENT
- Understanding the scope, object and findamental principles of the BS7671 :2008
- Knowledge and understanding of the essential definitions specified in the BS7671:2008
- Knowledge and understanding required to assess the general charachteristics of the energy source or supply, and the installation
- Knowledge and understanding of protection for safety of electrical installations
- Knowledge and understanding of selection and erection of equipment for electrical installations
- Knowledge and understanding of inspection and testing and reporting for electrical installations
- Knowledge and understanding of of special installations or locations and their requirements for electrical installations
- Understanding of the relevant appendicies of the BS 7671:2008
